If you shipped the item to the buyer, once the buyer has received the item, they have 48 hours to report quality issues, which will trigger a return and a refund of the order amount (net of shipping fees). After 48 hours, if the buyer does not report any issues, the sale is considered final. The seller receives an email prompting them to choose between cash and gift card payout (with 20% bonus value offered by H&M). If they choose cash, the payment will be issued to the bank information provided on the following Tuesday at 12pm Eastern Time. If they choose a gift card, this is issued immediately and the seller receives it via email. If the gift card value is over $500 you will receive an email with two separate gift card URLs, however, you can combine up to 5 gift cards online and in-store at H&M.
If you meet up with the buyer and successfully enter the buyer’s PIN code in the “Orders” section of your personal profile then the sale is immediately considered as confirmed and you will be able to choose the method of payment following the same process as above.
